Don Bosco Anbu Illam scout unit was inaugurated on 31 October 2016 in the presence of Fr. Sundaraj Francis, District Commissioner of Don Bosco Scouts and Guides. Mr. Nazarudeen the scout master presented the new scouts and they were received as members by the commissioner.
Batches and scarves were presented to the new scouts. In his message the chief guest invited them to be prepared for every good work and highlighted the common interests between Don Bosco and Paden Paul.
