Annual Summer Camp
DBAI conducted Summer Camp for Bosco Illam and Saranalyam children from 25th April 2025 to 04th May 2025 for providing opportunity to learn and experience valuable life skills that helps their personal growth and development. The inaugural ceremony was blessed by Fr. Andrews Stephen raj, sdb, Director of DBAI who encouraged the children to take a joyful participation.
The 10 day camp had different events including
English Grammar classes,
Folkdance training on Parai, Oyilattam and Karagam
Session on Child Rights, Women Rights and Awareness on Menstrual Hygiene
Life Skills session-Time Management, Empathy, Understanding Emotions and Self Esteem
Competitions like Dance, Singing, Mimicry, fancy dress and Skits on social causes
Friendly Indoor and Outdoor matches
Fun filled games and
Campfire
The children were actively and happily participated in all the events. This platform helped them to learn new skills, knowledge and experience different types atmosphere which strengthen their confidence and character. They showed their individual talents and embraced the team spirit to achieve their goals.
In the end of the Camp, the winners were acknowledged by special prizes and to encourage all the children clothes were distributed.
