World Day Against Child Labour
On the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour on 12 June 2026, the children of Saranalayam and Bosco Illam organized awareness programmes to advocate for the elimination of child labour and promote every child's right to education and protection. The children of Saranalayam presented an engaging awareness skit highlighting the harmful effects of child labour and the importance of ensuring a safe and educated future for every child. Bosco Illam conducted a human chain awareness programme to spread the message of protecting children's rights and ending child labour. Mr. Parthasarathy, Sub-Inspector of Police, and Mr. Boopathy, Police Constable, from P6 Kodungaiyur Police Station participated as chief guests and expressed their support for the initiative. The programmes successfully sensitized the community and reinforced the collective responsibility of creating a child labour-free society where every child can learn, grow, and thrive with dignity.
